Privacy Policy
Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
Draft. This policy is not in effect yet and still needs a review before launch. Items in brackets are filled in at launch.
The short version
- We collect what we need to reply to you, run your account and keep the service secure.
- No ads, no tracking scripts, no selling data. This website loads its fonts and code from our own server.
- You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data at any time.
Who this covers
This policy covers jumpgatenetworks.com, the request form, and the customer dashboard. It is run by [LEGAL NAME], [CITY, STATE].
The websites and apps we host for customers have their own privacy policies. For data inside those sites, our customer decides how it is used and we act on their behalf under our Data Processing Addendum.
What we collect
When you send a request
Your name, email, business or project name, current site, GitHub repo link, and whatever you write in the form.
When you have an account
Your name, email, a hashed password (we never store it in a form we can read), your support tickets, and billing contact details and invoices.
When you use our sites
Technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This comes from our server logs and from Cloudflare, which carries our traffic.
Cookies
The dashboard sets one cookie to keep you logged in. This website sets none. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots, which checks your browser and IP address when you submit.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and send a quote.
- To run your account, host your sites, and send alerts and invoices.
- To answer support tickets.
- To keep our systems secure and investigate abuse.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, Inc. carries traffic to our servers, runs DNS and the Turnstile bot check, and stores our encrypted backups.
- [PAYMENT PROCESSOR] handles card payments if you pay online. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
Our email runs on our own mail server. We don't share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.
Where it is stored
Our servers are in the United States. Encrypted backups are stored with Cloudflare R2 in North America.
How long we keep it
- Requests that don't become a customer account: 12 months.
- Account data and tickets: while your account is open, plus 30 days.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Invoices: as long as tax law requires, usually 7 years.
Your choices
Email support@jumpgatenetworks.com to see, correct, export or delete your data. We reply within 30 days. If you are an end user of a site we host, contact that site's owner first; we help them answer you.
Children
This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. Student projects are welcome. If the student is under 18, a parent, guardian or school holds the account.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we update the date above and email account holders before the change takes effect.
